This finely crafted Kaleidoscope is a joy.
It is 2 kaleidoscopes in a icy blue enameled metal barrel. One
mirror system is a complex 6 pointed snowflake on a midnight
background. The second is a 3 mirror system has a black mask
of snowflakes creating many snowflakes on a frosty midnight sky
background. The rotating oil object cell contains all the cool,
wintry shades of blue, silver, teal and violet.
It comes
with a clear acrylic stand which is etched with a snowflake and
inscribed. Snowflakes: Winter's Jewels by Luc and Sallie Durette.
Included is a wonderful book Snowflakes by Kenneth Libbrecht
which has dozens of photos of real snowflakes
